西畫社「2011年春季西畫展」要點 
What members need to know about our 2011 spring fine arts exhibition

     1.  地點：僑教中心
   Exhibition location: Taipei Economic and Culture Office of Houston , 10303 Westoffice, Houston, TX 77042

2. 日期：二零一一年四月二 日（週六）至四月 十日（週日）下午三時三十分
    Exhibition date: April 2nd  (Saturday) to April 10 (3:30pm , Sunday), 2011

3. 時間：上午九時三十分至下午三時三十分，週一休息
   Exhibition hours: 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Closed on Monday.

4. 掛畫：四月 一日（週五）下午一時開始，先到先掛為原則。義務掛畫者決定掛畫位置。請踴躍做掛畫義工
   Artwork hanging: Starting at 1 pm April 1st  (Friday). Volunteers needed to help hang. The volunteer has the final say as to where any given artwork to be hung.

5. 揭幕：四月二 日（週六）上午十時三十分，請邀請您的親友出席
   The opening ceremony starts at 10:30 am, April 2nd (Saturday).  Please invite your family and friends to attend.

6. 閉幕：四月 十日（週日）中午十時至三時三十分.
    The exhibition ends on April 10 (Sunday) at 3:30pm.

　

     7. 取畫 : 四月 十二日（週二）中午十時至十二時

         Please remove your painting on April 12 (Tuesday) from 10am to 12pm.

8. 值班：上午九時半至中午十二時半為早班，十二時半至下午三時半為午班，每班二人(週五下午、週六、和週日每班可以有三人)，請踴躍參與，參展會員請值班，畫社老師和七十五歲以上的會員可以不值班
    On duty: Two shifts per day, the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and the afternoon shift from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The exhibition participants are expected to sign up, unless they are volunteer teachers or senior members over 75.

9. 每會員展畫二幅，大小不拘，曾在僑教中心展過的作品不宜再展，如果還有展覽空間時，可以掛第三幅 。會員每張掛畫繳付$3, 兩張$5。歡迎非會員參加我們的畫展，每張掛畫繳付$20。  繳付會費$10的贊助會員，每張掛畫繳付$5 。老師不在此限。
   Each member may exhibit up to two artworks. If extra exhibition space is available, additional one may be displayed.  A charge of $3 per painting, $5 for two painting will be applied to regular members.   Non-members are welcome to participate in our Art Exhibitions,  a charge of $20 per painting will be applied and a $5 charge per painting for Associate  members.  Teachers are welcome to display more artworks.   

10. 會員展畫可以標價，或附聯絡電話號碼。如果作品賣出，請捐20%給畫社
    You may offer to sell your paintings by listing your price or attaching your telephone number to your artwork tag. Donation of 20% of the proceeds to HCAPC is suggested.

11. 參展者要確定作品可以掛上，需要代訂掛畫所需的零件者，請交工費五元
     Be sure that your artwork is ready for hanging. . If it is not presentable, there will be a $5 charge for getting any necessary work done.

12. 畫展之前要製作中英文目錄，內容包括姓名、作品名稱、大小尺寸、使用顏料種類，請將以上資料於三月十 八日以前告知，以便製作及附印。遲交者資料將不會被包括在目錄 。
    Please submit your artwork information for exhibition brochure and artwork tag, including "artist's name", "artwork's title", "medium used", and "size in inches" before March 18.   Any information come later will not be included in the brochure.

13. 畫展目錄不附照片，但是畫社網站將公佈展出作品的照片，要展出的作品請儘早用數位照相。如果需要代照，請於三月十七日或三月二十四日週四集會的時間帶作品來。如果您要自己拍攝 ，可在 三月二十六日才遞件 。有更晚才遞來者，我們吝不能接受。
    Please submit digital pictures of your artwork, or bring your artwork on Thursday class (March 17 and 24) for photographing. The photos will be used for HCAPC web site posting.   If you take your own photos, you have until  March 26, 2011 to submit them.  No late comer will be accepted.

14. 說明卡以三乘五英吋為原則，用中英文標示作品名稱、作者姓名、及顏料種類
     Each artwork has a 3”x5”  tag attached, listing " artist's name, artwork's title and size, and medium used" in both Chinese and English.

15. 如果你有其他多餘的作品要賣的話，請於四月 一日下午掛畫時帶來，放進一個收集箱內，並請附上作者姓名及賣價，這些作品以小幅、不裝框、低價、20%捐給畫社為原則
    You may sell your "overstocked" artworks during exhibition.   Please bring them in on  April 1st  (Friday at hanging time).  They will be placed in a collection box (preferably small-sized, unframed, low-priced, 20% of proceeds donated to HCAPC) .
