Houston Chinese Amateur Painting Club

Year-End General Member Meeting Minutes

December 1^st, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

Attendance:  A total of 40 members were present for the meeting which but not limited to the following:

Officer:  Min-Min Chen, James Wong, Tammy Tse, Teresa Tu, Alice Hung.

                        Former President: Vincent Wang, Shirley Tsang

                        Teacher: Grace Szeto, Susan Tsai, Y.T. Wei, Katy Cheng, Tsai-Yun Lyou

Approved Decision:

             I.      Qualification for being a HCAPC Art teacher. 

Whoever meets one of the following qualifications and also obtains a majority vote of the current teachers will be eligible becoming a teacher of the HCAPC.

1.         Graduation from a bachelor's degree program in art education or completed  related painting art education curriculum and also has the teaching experience.

2.         Any member with excellent painting skills with at least six months of observation in the HCAPC painting class by current HCAPC teachers ; and has been recommended 

       to be an assistance teacher or substitute teacher before becoming the HCAPC teacher. 

          II.      All members may enter up to two painting into the HCAPC Art Exhibition free of charge.

       III.      The members approved and designated Alice Hung to help register HCAPC with the State of Texas as a legitimate nonprofit organization and chairing the By-Laws committee 

            to establish the HCAPC By-Laws.

(一)  HCAPC繪畫藝術老師的資格

凡符合下列條件之一，同時也獲得現任教師投票的過半數票者，將能夠成為 HCAPC老師。

1.   繪畫藝術教育科班出身以及有教學經驗者。

2.   任何具有優良繪畫技能的會員需要有連續六個月上課、經現任老師觀察及推薦担任過HACPC的助敎、或代課老師者。

(二)  每次HCAPC畫展、會員首兩幅畫可獲免費參展。

(三) 會員通過批准和指定趙婉兒負責辦理註冊HCAPC作為一個在德州合法的非營利性組織，並主持法律委員會和建立HCAPC章程。
