Teacher Grace will be our teacher for June.

She will teach Still Life for the first 3 June class (6/2, 6/9, 6/16), and will stay for the afternoon class only on 6/9 and 6/16. (May be on 6/25).

Here are the instructions from teacher Grace's :

You may bring any medium you want but I mainly teach how to use oil paint.
Beginners can take this opportunity to learn oil painting. Still Life set-up,
composition, color harmony, brush strokes¡K. etc will be discussed. I will do
some demonstration in the class. For those who are afraid of using oil paints
please read the attached files. (Nothing to be afraid of).

Please bring:
Canvas:  at least two canvases:  one 11x14 or 12x16 and one 14x18 or 16x20.
Brushes:  flat or filbert: Large (size 14 or 12), middle (size 10 or 8), and
               small (size 6 or 4) of bristle brushes and sable brushes (Royal Langnickel or
               equivalent soft synthetic brushes).
Round sable brush: size 1 or 2. 
Mineral Spirit and painting medium: Odorless Turpenoid, Linseed Oil or Liquin.
My palette is as follows:
    Titanium white (soft mixing) or Permalba White, Cadmium Yellow Light,
    Indian Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Orange, Burnt Sienna, Cadmium Red Light,
    Grumbacher Red, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue, Cerulean Blue,
     Veridian, Sap Green, Thalo Yellow Green.
    Please place the above colors on your palette in the same order as they are
    following the color wheel. If you wish, you may put Yellow Ochre and Burnt
    Sienna at another corner since they are earth colors. Your palette should have a
    minimum 9"x12" mixing area.
Also, bring easel, color wheel, a painting knife with about 2" long thin
flexible blade, lots of paper towels, and tapes/clips.
