三月趙文正老師教畫
老師會用四星期來教導Dry brush drawing，讓膠彩畫看來像油畫。會員要帶：
1）16"x20"
畫板， 不用gesso打底，但要用炭筆描好底稿。老師希望我們畫春天景色，最好是會員自己的照片。
2）帶膠彩,
不要油彩。要多帶白色和不同的藍色。
3）色板
4）水瓶
5）1＂和 ½” square tip bristle brush
6）中號和小號

round tip filbert brush,
7） line brush 2,4號
8）Fan brush
9）白紙及筆做筆記
新同學要準時到，帶4B，6B鉛筆和軟擦膠，坐在前排，如要畫膠彩也可以慢慢跟
着。

四月2週---老師會幫會員評改春展的畫
Teacher Janice will be our teacher on March. She will teach us dry brush painting and will take 4 weeks to finish. The technique she teaches will make acrylic looks like oil painting. Here is Teacher’s request:
1.)16” x 20” canvas -- do not need to gesso the canvas, but need to use charcoal to sketch your drawing on it. Teacher prefers spring landscape, and is better to use your own photos. 2.) Acrylic – bring all your acrylic colors, no oil color. We will use a lot of white; and bring several different blue colors 3.) Palette for acrylic 4.) Water bottle 5.) Square tip bristle brush: ½ inch and 1 inch 6.) Round tip filbert brush: medium & small (no.8 & no.4) 7.) Thin line brush no.2, no. 4 8.) Fan brush 9.) Pen and notepaper for taking notes in classTeacher wants new students come on time and sit in the front table. Bring 4B, 6B pencil and a putty eraser or do acrylic painting if you prefer.
*** Be sure to bring Teacher Janice’s acrylic notes if you have them. If not, you may purchase one from class.
