Spring Excursion to Brenham Texas (Flowers, Antique Carousel and Ice cream tour) (5/10/2010 Monday)

行程：
  8:15 am 由僑教中心後面停車場登記、上車
  8:30 am 上午八點三十分準時出發
10:00 am 抵達 Antique Rose Emporium, Independence(玫瑰園, 80 哩路程), 停留 1 ½ 到 2 小時
12:00 am 抵達 Fireman Park, Brenham (公園, 12 哩路程), 在公園的有蓋亭子午餐。
12:30 pm 在公園裏的室內Antique Carousel (古董旋轉木馬) 游玩 。可乘坐在木馬旁的坐凳慢慢地轉和照相。在公園停留 2 小時
  2:00 pm 抵達 Blue Bell Creameries (冰淇淋工場, 5 哩路程) , 參觀冰淇淋工場(45分鐘), 完畢後有冰淇淋試吃。停留1 ½ 小時
  4:00 pm 抵達 Chappell Hill Lavender Farm (薰衣草農莊, 5 哩路程), 到達後請留在車上聽 1-2分鐘的簡介。停留1 ½ 小時。
  6:30 pm 返抵僑教中心, (62 哩路程)

費用：會員每人十五元 (十二元---如在三月三十一日前報名及缴費)，會員家屬或朋友每人二十元

            費用含交通, 午餐, 瓶裝水, 木馬和冰淇淋工場進場費, 小費。

Spring Excursion Itinerary

　

  08:15 am:  Register and board County Bus at Chinese Culture Center at rear parking lot.

  08:30 am:  Bus depart                                                             

  10.00 am:  Arrive at Antique Rose Emporium, Independence (80 mile ride)

         1 ½ to 2 hours to visit

12:00 noon:  Fireman Park, Brenham (12 mile ride)

                   Lunch will be served there under covered pavilion

  12:30 pm:  Antique Carousel (in Fireman Park)               

                   Can ride on the sled bench (very slow) or take photo. It's indoors.

                   Approximate 2 hours stay at park

    2:00 pm:  Blue Bell Creameries (5 mile ride)

                   CONFIRMED for 2:15 tour (Must be @ Blue Bell by 2:00)   

                   Tour is approximate 45 min long with ice cream samples at end.

                   1 ½ hour visit

   4:00 pm:  Chappell Hill Lavender Farm (15 mile ride)

                  Please remain seated on the bus when we arrive here for 1-2 minutes for a brief orientation.

                  1 ½ hour visit

   6:30 pm:  Back to CCC (62 mile ride)

　

　

Cost includes transportation, lunch and bottle water, entrance fees to carousal and creamery, and tips:

          $15.00 per HCAPC member ($12.00 if registered and paid by March 31, 2010), $20.00 per non-member

　

　

Note: Bus has limited seating (38), so sign up early. Wear comfortable walking shoes.  Bring your camera.  And have FUN!
