Fall Excursion to Galveston Texas  (11/1/2010 Monday)

行程：
  8:15 上午    由僑教中心後面停車場登記、上車
  8:30 上午    準時出發
10:00 上午    渡輪著陸，坐渡輪(可以看海鷗哺食)
11:00 上午    遊覽 波利瓦半島 (若天氣好，遊覽 Fort Travis)
12:00  中午    回到Galveston海島，午餐在海岸旁的MacDonalds，午餐完，能在海灘散步。午餐自費
 1:30  下午    參觀 樹雕塑   (我們將坐在汽車上，因為他們很分散)

2:30   下午     參觀德州海口博物館  （參觀Elissa -戰艦 包含 每人$5門票) (通常門票費每個人$8)

                     參觀商店地區，可自由活動、購物                     

  5:00 下午    離開Galveston
  6:30 下午    返抵僑教中心

費用：會員每人十元 (在 十月二十一日前報名及缴費)，會員家屬或朋友每人十五元( 十月二十一日後報名及缴費)

            費用含交通, 司機午餐,小費 , 瓶裝水, 進 德州海口博物館門票 。午餐請自理。

Fall Excursion Itinerary (Monday, November 1, 2010)

　

              08:15 am:     Register and board County Bus at Chinese Culture   Center at rear parking lot.

              08:30 am:     Bus depart                                                             

              10.00 am:     Ferry Landing, board Ferry (may see seagulls feeding)

              11:00 am:     Bolivar Peninsula (weather permit-visit Fort Travis)    

 

 12:00 noon:  Return to Galveston Island, Lunch @McDonalds on the seawall w/ access to beach (meal not included)

               1:30 pm:      Tree Sculpture Tour (We will be on the bus since they are scattered)           

               2:30 pm:      Texas Seaport Museum ( admission included, Tour Elissa ($5 per person, regular is $8 per person)

                                  and  The Strand (shopping)  

                  

               5:00 pm:       Return to Houston

               6:30 pm:       Back to CCC

　

　

Cost of $10.00 for early registration and payment in full by 10/21/10 for HCAPC members.   $15.00 for all non-member that pay after 10/21/10.  The fee includes transportation, tips and lunch for the driver only, bottle water for all attendants, and entrance fees to Texas Seaport Museum.  Attendants will be responsible for their own lunch.

         

　

　

Note: Bus has limited seating (38), so sign up early. Wear comfortable walking shoes.  Bring your camera.  Have FUN!
