Diane Brahm「粉彩肖像的技法」講座


休士頓華人業餘西畫社將於2010年六月卄六日邀請到休士頓著名畫家Diane Brahm為社友及僑社主講「粉彩肖像的技法」。

演講主題：粉彩肖像的技法


主講人: Diane Brahm, 畢業於奧士汀德州大學藝術系, 正式接受傳統藝術指導, 她的作品不但顯現嫻熟的技巧, 生動而且富有深厚的西洋畫藝術功底。曾多次參加美國地方性及國際性藝術機構所舉辦的畫展，並多次獲獎。她的畫不但充滿著優美古典派的寫實主義。她並勇於接受挑戰從純正寫實藝術而發展至現代並接近於新潮的肖像,風景和靜物繪畫等。
Diane Brahm擅長油畫、水粉畫, 及灰筆畫。對傳統西洋繪畫及現代藝術的深刻理解而獲得好評和肯定。並長期從事藝術教學和藝術創作。
演講大概內容： 講解畫肖像的技巧 及重點。並現場示範。

         Diane Brahm  embraces the beauty of classic realism in her painting and drawing.  However, she is unafraid to challenge the purity of 

         representational art as she develops a contemporary approach to modern portraiture, landscapes and still life. 

         Academically trained, with a BFA from the University of Texas at Austin, but classically mentored, her works reveal a fresh look at life,

         but with a solid sense of artistic capability. She has won many awards in painting and drawing, locally and nationally.

         Diane is adept handling oils, pastels, or charcoal and enjoys sharing her gifts by teaching weekly classes.
