回最新消息 Return to "Current News" Ink Wash Painting Workshop (水墨畫法) March 2-3, 2010 (from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at our classroom in the CCC)
Please bring the following supplies:
1. One pack of watercolor paper – 140 lbs
2. One pack big size of Drawing/Sketch paper – 140 lbs, (90 lbs is not good enough) The preferred size is 12 x 18 or 12 x 16.
3. Brushes - 3 sizes, big, middle and small. (May need big black sponge brush, middle and small sizes of Chinese brushes for example)
* Teacher will supply ink. She can
get special discount from Texas Art Supply store and volunteers to purchase
those supplies.
* 2-day workshop: $60 per person * Teacher Katy is contributing one half of the proceeds from this workshop to HCAPC. * Maximum size of the class - 12 Students. Since 3 years old, she has learned from her father, very famous respected Prof. Cheng (鄭曼青) on drawing, painting and Tai Chi. She graduated from National Art College majored in western art in Taiwan. In USA, she attended New York Art League and San Jacinto Community College. She has other several interests and talents besides painting such as in ceramic, singing and Tai Chi, etc. Like many artists, she is very easy going, full of emotion and feelings, loves to paint to express the truth, beauty, and wonders of the world. *****************************************************************************************************************************************
