休士頓華人業餘西畫社與恆豐銀行聯合舉辦二零零七年秋季畫展要點
What members need to know about 2007 Fall fine arts exhibition (10/27-11/10/07)

1. 地點：恆豐銀行總行頂樓 Exhibition Location: American First National Bank, Twelfth floor, 9999 Bellaire Blvd., Houston, TX 77036

2. 日期：二零零七年十月二十七日（週六）至十一月十日（週六），週六半天，週日休息 Date: October 27 (Saturday) to November 10 (Saturday).  Saturdays from 9 to noon.  Closed on Sundays.

3. 時間：上午九時至下午三時 Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Closed on Sundays. Saturdays from 9 to 12.

4. 掛畫：十月二十六日（週五）下午一時開始，先到先掛為原則。至於掛在何處，由掛畫義工決定。請踴躍登記做掛畫義工 We will begin to hang the paintings at 1 PM the day before, or October 26 (Friday). Please try to be a hanging volunteer. The volunteer has the final right as to where any given artwork to be hung.

5. 閉幕取畫：十一月十日（週六）中午十二時開始，下午一時銀行關門之前 The exhibition ends on November 10. You should remove your painting between 12 noon and 1 PM. (The Bank will be closed at 1 PM.)

6. 揭幕：十月二十七日（週六）上午十一時整，請邀請您的親友出席 The opening ceremony will be at 11AM, October 27. Please invite your family and friends to attend.

7. 值班：上午九時至中午十二時為早班，十二時至下午三時為午班，每班一人，週五午班或週六早班二人，請踴躍參與，畫社老師和七十歲以上的會員可以不值班On Duty: There will be two shifts, morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12 noon, and afternoon shift from 12 noon to 3:00 PM. The exhibition participants are expected to sign up, unless they are volunteer teachers or senior members over 70.

8. 每人最多展出三幅 Each member may display up to three paintings of any size. Additional painting may be hung if extra space is available.

9. 參展者要確定作品可以掛上，需要代訂掛畫所需的零件者，請交工費五元 Be sure that your artwork is ready for hanging. There will be a $5 charge for getting the necessary works done.

10. 可以標價，或附聯絡電話號碼 You may sell your painting by listing your price or have your telephone number attached to your artwork.

11. 如果你有其他多餘的作品要賣的話，請於十月二十六日下午掛畫時帶來，放進一個收集箱內，並請附上作者姓名及賣價，這些作品以小幅、不裝框、低價、20%捐給畫社為原則 You may sell your "overstocked" artworks during exhibition. These artworks (preferably small-sized, unframed, low-priced, 20% of proceeds donated to HCAPC) will be placed in a collection box.

12. 畫展之前要製作中英文目錄，內容包括姓名、作品名稱、大小尺寸、使用顏料種類，請將以上資料於十月卄日以前告知，以使製作及附印  We are going to have "exhibition brochure" made. Please submit your artworks' information including" Artist's name", " artwork's title", "medium used", and "size in inches" in both Chinese and English before October 20.

13. 要展出的作品請儘早用數位照相（如果需要代照，請於任何星期四每週集會的時間帶作品來，因為會反光的緣故，請在裝上玻璃之前拍照）Please submit digital photos of your paintings, or bring your paintings to Thursday's weekly meet for photographing.

14. 說明卡以三乘五英吋為原則，用中英文標示作品名稱、作者姓名、及顏料種類 Each painting has a brief note (3”x5”) attached, listing "artist's name, artwork's title, and medium used" in both Chinese and English. 

15. 開幕典禮後請大家到前面去一起照相，另外請找照相負責人在自己的作品前照相 Be sure to have individual and group photos taken before and after the ceremony by club photographers
